Pietro Cattani

Pietro’s role as Dario’s father in HOTEL ITALIA won him accolades. Ever since, he’s been one of the most popular amongst the LKP models, despite his age (or because of it?) and the short filmography. “I grew up in a small, small village on the Italian Alps”, says Pietro. “I wanted to venture out, to do something different and get noticed”. He sure did. With an ongoing modeling career in the mainstream, Pietro is a ‘pro’ and has always delivered. Don’t be surprised if you catch him on tv in a popular commercial or in countless catalogs and publications. Pietro bid farewell to the blue screen with ON THE FARM. He currently lives in Northern Italy with his boyfriend.

In memory of Wicky Hassan

I met Wicky on the set of HOTEL ITALIA, back in 1999. He asked me to pay a visit to his (huge) store in Rome: we’ve been friends since. Long-distance friends –we were seldom in the same place at the same time. But we’ve kept in touch: I’d  write him about Miss Sixty opening in LA or Vegas, he’d inquire about my latest productions. Though openly gay (his pool parties were legendary), Wicky seldom advertised in the glbt press and was often criticized for it. But personally he’s always sponsored LucasKazan, always clothed our models. Big boxes of jeans wear, underwear, swimwear would await us on our sets.  That alone would make Wicky ‘one of a kind’ amongst the many Italian fashion designers  (most of them gay, most of them deeply closeted). He wasn’t afraid to embrace his own self, nor was he afraid to lend a mainstream label as ENERGIE to the ‘blue’ screen. Farewell, my friend. We’ll miss you

Derek Cameron in "Gay Porn Heroes"

Writes Brent Blue in his review of “Gay Porn Heroes” (Bruno Gmuender): “Derek Cameron. For me, Derek Cameron has been and always will be my idea of the perfect porn star. Few men in gay porn have ever been as drop-dead gorgeous as Derek Cameron, as bodies, dicks and asses are far more valuable than faces. I had the opportunity to meet him once, and just couldn’t go up to him (he was still working in porn at the time and it was a porn event, so it wasn’t as if I were interrupting dinner). I was scared of the man I considered a porn god and knew I would go idiotically speechless if I met him. Couldn’t have said it better myself. Back in 1997 I fought for Derek with MenofOdyssey, who wanted Ken Ryker to star in “Journey to Italy” instead. I followed my heart (my guts?), MenofOdyssey caved in. Fast-forward to the Awards night: Derek and I at the table with Ryan Idol. But my eyes were all for Derek –who picked up his very first trophy for “Tradewinds”
